41 Vicente Place, Berkley
Presenting a proposed design for a 6-bedroom, 6-full-bath, and 2-half-bath property in Berkeley. The architectural vision strategically considers the property’s orientation and surroundings to create a harmonious integration with the natural beauty of the neighborhood.
The back yard elevation of the building is designed to be tall and open, offering panoramic views of the Bay Area and San Francisco. Simultaneously, the front elevation is thoughtfully concealed partially behind the hillside. This intentional placement minimizes the impact on the scenic nature of the neighborhood, fostering a design that respects and preserves the beauty of its surroundings.
In terms of building materials, a blend of natural teak wood and stucco is employed. This choice not only pays homage to the older wooden structures in the area but also nods to the more contemporary smooth stucco buildings. The thoughtful selection of materials serves as a tribute to the architectural heritage of the neighborhood, seamlessly marrying traditional and modern elements.
To further connect residents with the hillside nature, every floor is equipped with a balcony. These balconies serve as personal retreats, providing a direct link between the interior living spaces and the natural landscape surrounding the property. This design feature enhances the overall living experience by fostering a connection with the outdoors while maintaining a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
