Zoom In & Out

This project centers around the transformation of everyday objects into unique entities, each endowed with its own backstory and environment. The process began by modeling Simpson Strong Ties, elevating them into luxury art pieces.

Subsequently, these transformed pieces were given a narrative, imagining them as once adorning a mansion as exclusive decorations. However, the mansion met an unfortunate fate, abandoned and reduced to ruins following the sudden disappearance of its owners. In this scenario, the luxury art pieces succumbed to decay, while the regular Strong Ties remained resilient, still intact and undamaged on the concrete walls.

The underlying narrative of this story serves to illustrate the impermanence of beauty standards, as the opulent art pieces, once symbols of luxury, gave way to deterioration. In contrast, the practical and utilitarian nature of the regular Strong Ties endured, emphasizing the resilience of functionality over fleeting aesthetic trends.
